How do we specify a bad internet site design? And why are there many bad we design methods being applied nowadays? As a regular internet-user, this could make a level of pain in the ass. In my own experience, bad web designs drive me sick! How on earth could they make such a low-class site believing that there are lots of fine web design data useable at their disposal? Here is a listing of the most high-risk web design methods that could drive anybody to the edge of sanity.
Too Many Banner Ads
If you want your website to be equated to a classified advertisement, then bombing it with 50 banners advertisements isn’t a problem. Otherwise, you’ve to be careful on what you put in there. Whenever you are selling cellular phone*, placing banner ads for shoes and shellings does not add up at all. This could leave potential buyers confused.
Pop-ups and Broken Back Buttons
Don’t you just hate websites that has broken your browser back button? Yuck. This can drive you mad! Just what can get you crazier is while they begin hurling pop-ups you way ahead you could even read the site headline. Did they actually believe that bombarding us on pop ups and locking us down on their page could win over us to buy from them? I do not believe so. I won’t call up twice in adding them to my blacklist, that’s what I’m attending to do!
Snail-like loading Time
Internet users are impatient. They prefer to navigate through a website and bump what they want for quick as possible. A dull loading internet site is instantly blackballed by our “good website lists”. Slow loading time is usually caused by cheap web hosting, poor coding, un-optimized and too much graphics.
A large Flash introduction Screen
Most importantly, visitors visited your site to see what it’s about-review products and services that you sell and not feast their eyes on your flash effects. This is just bothering, to the nth power, specially for someone who has a slow dial-up connection. No way are they going to hold for 5 to 10 minutes for your site to load. The most easygoing answer is close the web browser and move to the next candidate.
Horizontal Scrolling
Everyone hates horizontal scrolling. Period! It’s numerous hand work and it could drive people nuts. There’s no cause for horizontal scrolling to be deliver in your website.
